Our experienced team is focused on developing and nurturing every student's talent. We adopt a friendly and approachable style of teaching and are always willing to speak to parents about a child's development.
The school is headed by Tara Piontecki our fully qualified dance teacher in I.S.T.D Classical Ballet, Tap Dance and Modern Theatre. She has 10 years of teaching experience, teaching students from age 3 to adults. Tara trained from age 9 -16 at Maria Evans Academy of Dance in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz; achieving a distinction in all her examinations from Grade 1 - Intermediate. She performed at festivals for many years, qualifying in solos, duets, trios and groups and attended the London finals at the Peacock Theatre. Tara started teaching for Maria Evans at the age of 16 and discovered a love for teaching and choreography, whilst helping to prepare students for examinations, shows and festivals.
At the age of 19 Tara auditioned for the Judith Hockaday College of Dance and Drama in Swindon and was offered a place to study dance teaching with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Tara completed 2 years of training at the Judith Hockaday College, achieving vocational and advanced grades in ballet, tap and modern with merit and distinction.
